Douglas D.J. Leader 93 of Miami OK passed away Saturday September 30, 2023 peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. He was born September 21, 1930 in Wyandotte OK. He was the son of Claude and Pearl (Hesseltine) Leader. He graduated from Wyandotte High School. He was drafted into the Army and served as a frontline Medic. He was happily married to Marilyn (Williams) Leader for 61 years. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church. Along with raising cattle, Doug worked for B.F. Goodrich for 33 years and retired from there.

After retiring he opened his own auto sales business. He and his wife Marilyn worked together for several years before retiring. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife Marilyn of the home. Son Douglas Alan Leader of Miami OK. Daughter Melanie Mitchell and husband Bill of Grapevine TX. 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents

Claude and Pearl Leader, Brother Clifford Leader, and Sisters Vera Faye Brookes and Claudia Graves.

The family will hold a Celeberation Of Life Service at 11:00am, November 18, 2023 at the Community Of Christ Church in Miami, OK.

Creamation arrangements were under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home Seneca, MO.
