Dorwin Tucker

Dorwin C. Tucker, 92, Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest at 6:20am, December 9, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin after an illness. Dorwin C. Tucker was born November 12, 1923 in Hart, MO the son of Ernest and Mary Melinda (Roark) Tucker. Dorwin spent most of his life in the Seneca Area.  He survived his country in the US Army during WWII. He retired in 1982 from the BF Goodrich plant in Miami, OK and was a member of the former Seneca Full Gospel Church.  Dorwin C. Tucker married Beulah Doner and she preceded him in death July 7, 2005.  Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Roberts and husband James and Linda Hill and husband Robert L. all of Seneca, MO;  one sister Margie Purse, Wyandotte, OK; 5 grandchildren, Rick Tammy, Craig, Kelly and Casey; 8 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.  Dorwin was preceded in death by siblings, Hycle Tucker, Ross Tucker, Glen Tucker, Grace Lovell and Melvin Tucker.  Funeral services under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, December 14, 2015 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Chapel with Rev. Mark Buzzard officiating. Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery with Darrel Robinson, Jared Robinson, Brian Ruark, Jimmy Gilstrap, Jarod Hill and Nolan Moyer serving as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm, Sunday, December 13, 2015 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home.
