Dorthea Cooke

Doretha F. (Brodrick) Cooke, 72, Wyandotte, OK, passed away October 18, 2015 at Baptist Integris Hospital, Miami, OK after an illness.Doretha F. Brodrick was born September 7, 1943 in Wyandotte, OK the daughter of Chester and Dorothy (Jones) Brodrick.  Doretha was an insurance agent working in several area insurance companies.  She was a member of Hickory Grove Church.   Doretha married Michael Cooke March 3, 1990 in Wyandotte, OK and he preceded her in death November 30, 2013.   Survivors include one son Michael and wife Kim Garcia-Groh, Grove, OK; Sisters, Louise Eastley, Wyandotte, Ella May Simpson and husband Joe, Wyandotte and Dorothy Crafton, Fairland; brother, Edward Brodrick and wife Linda, Seneca, sister-in-laws, Pam Harding Brodrick, Springfield, Debbie Brodrick, Fairland, Mary Ellen Brodrick, Ozark, Trivia Brodrick, Oklahoma City, Pat Brodrick, Miami; brother-in-law, Jack Crafton, Fairland.   Doretha was preceded in death by her parents Chester and Dorothy Brodrick; siblings, Robert Brodrick, Allen (Bill) Brodrick, Alta Chafin, Clarence Brodrick, Chester Brodrick Jr., Frank Brodrick, Lois Wyrick and Kathryn Crafton.   The family will be holding a memorial service, 11;00 am, Friday, October 23, 2015 at the Hickory Grove Church.   The body has been taken for cremation under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
