Doris Church

Doris June (Meador) Chruch, 84, Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest at 10:55 pm, October 5, 2014 at Freeman West Hospital after an illness.   Doris June Meador was born November 28, 1929 in Saratoga Springs, MO, the daughter of Asa and Vera (Terry) Meador.  Doris retired from Eagle Picher in Seneca in 1994 where she worked in the environmental service department.  She was a member of the Sycamore Chapel United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. Doris had been attending Seneca 1st Baptist Church.    Doris June Meador married James Church April 11, 1951 in Bentonville, AR, and he preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Charles Meador and Kenneth Meador and three sisters, Virigina Rose, Maggie Parker and ILean Waldo.   Survivors include three daughters, Alinda Ehrhart and husband Morris, Seneca, MO, Janet Swadley and husband Charles, Wyandotte, OK and Janie Glendenning and husband Paul, Pawhuska, OK; one sister, Maxine Fletcher, Bella Vista, AR; 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.  Funeral services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Seneca with Pastor Aaron Weibel officiating. Burial will be in the Saratoga Cemetery with Justin Ehrhart, Galen Swadley, Mike Glendenning, Max Glendenning, Tyler Ehrhart and Zach Ehrhart serving as pallbearers.    The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca.   In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Help Works INC., PO Box 1475 Pawhuska, OK 74056.  Help Works is an 501 C3 not for profit that helps people with developmental disabilities.
