Doris Cantwell

Doris June Cantwell, 82, Grove, OK passed into eternal rest at 2:35 PM, Monday, August 20, 2012 at the Grove Nursing Center after a long illness.   Doris June Sherwood was born August 17, 1930 in Ottawa County, OK the daughter of James William and Rosa Ella “Elam” Sherwood.  Doris was a homemaker and helped her husband maintain their farm. She was a member of the Riverton Friends Church, the Home Extension Club and the Miami Quilting Club.   Survivors include her husband Ralph Cantwell, Grove; one son Henry Eugene Cantwell and wife Deborah, Brea, CA; one daughter, Sharon Johnson and husband Stephen, Wyandotte; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one step grandchild.    Doris was preceded in death by her parents and one brother William “Bill” Sherwood.    Funeral services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 25, 2012 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Chapel with Jeff Adams officiating. Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery with family members serving as pallbearers.   The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, August 24, 2012 at the funeral home.
