Donald Wallace Shawver, 60, of Lexington, MO, passed away on June 24, 2024, at an assisted living facility after a long illness.
Donald Wallace Shawver was born September 1, 1963, in Fort Worth, Texas the son of Lowell and Gayle (Fletcher) Shawver. Donald graduated from Richland High School and joined the Army where he served in the Gulf War and Desert Storm. He earned many awards and recognitions while serving his country. He was stationed in Germany when the Berlin Wall was being torn down. He loved spending time with his 2 golden retrievers and spending time with his family. Donald love spending time learning and becoming a student of the Bible.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lowell and Gayle Shawver and his brother Danny Shawver.
Survivors include three sons, Joshua Shawver, Collinsville, OK.; Jacob Shawver, Reedsville, PA.; and Jeremiah Shawver.; one granddaughter Scottie Shawver, Collinsville, OK.; one brother Les Shawver, Fort Worth, TX
Funeral Services with military rites will be held July 9th, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas with the family and U.S. Army officiating.
