Dixie Woodward

Dixie Lee (Elliott) Woodward, 76, Seneca, MO passed away December 27, 2014 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, MO after a long illness.   Dixie Lee Elliott was born October 26, 1938 in Seneca, MO the daughter of Howard Clarence and Evadean (Golden) Elliott. Dixie graduate from Seneca High School in 1956 then attended NEO A&M College in Miami, OK, graduating in 1958 with an Associate's degree in business.  Dixie formerly worked as a secretary for the Milnot Company in Seneca. Dixie then worked for Eagle Pitcher, in Seneca until retiring.  Dixie was of the Christian faith.  Survivors include one daughter, Robin Woodward; one sister, Flordena (Shorty) Fowler and husband Rex, Broken Arrow, OK and a host of friends.   A Celebration of Life Memorial Visitation will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at the home of Patsy Meyer, 14145 Bethel Road, Seneca, MO.  The body has been taken for cremation under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO. Following the cremation internment will be in the Seneca Cemetery.
