Della Pool

Della Ruth Pool, 75, Seneca, MO, passed away July 31, 2024 at the Seneca House Nursing Home after an illness.

Della Ruth Barackman was born March 23, 1949 in Kansas City, KS the daughter of Earle John and Betty (Shaffer) Barackman. Della had lived in Kansas most of her life. She was a big Kansas City Chiefs fan. She loved to watch football all year long keeping stats on the games. Della loved camping, dancing, country music, going to the Country Stampede in Kansas, traveling and taking care of people. She worked as a RN both in hospitals and as a traveling. Della worked for Freeman Health Systems, Landmark and the former St. Johns all in Joplin. She also worked for St. Lukes in Kansas City, KS. Della loved her job and touched many lives while working as an RN. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and her children.

Survivors include one son, Daniel Barackman; one daughter Brandi Oilar both of Seneca, MO; one brother, Butch Barackman, Olathe, KS; one sister, Mary Folsom, Kansas City, KS; grandchildren; Tatum Vernon, Stone Oilar, Sawyer Oilar, Brantly Jordan, Harley Paul, Frankie Barackman and Sunshine Swink and a host of friends.

Della was preceded in death by her parents, Earle John and Betty Barackman; one daughter, Toni Barackman and one brother, Benny Lee Cashman.

A Celebration of life memorial service will be held at 3:00pm, Saturday, August 31, 2024 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.

The body has been taken for cremation under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
