Darlene Barnett

 Darlene Barnett, 87, was born January 10, 1938 in Miami Oklahoma to Oscar and Bessie Pickering. She passed from this life to her eternal heavenly home on January 14, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family and beloved pups. She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings.
  Darlene married Joe Ellis Barnett December 22, 1956 in Miami Oklahoma they had 67 happily married years
  Darlene's family includes Joe who proceeded her in death; daughter Cindy Barnett; son and daughter-in-law Sterling and Paula Barnett and their daughter Dr. Jami Barnett who proceeded her grandma in death; her bonus son Mike Foley, all of Seneca granddaughter Rachel Weaver and Aaron and two great granddaughters, Emma and Madeline of Arkansas
  Darlenes enjoyed going to auctions with Joe and finding deals of the day. She collected cookbooks an angel figurines, her greatest love of course was Joe, followed closely by her children and grandchildren she worked at St. John's.
  While Joe was serving his country in the army, Darlene worked at Phillip 66 in Bartlesville Oklahoma. She later worked at St. John's Hospital for 13 years and a big nickel in Joplin before retiring. Darlene will be missed dearly every day by her family and those who knew her. 
   The body has been taken for cremation under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home Seneca, MO.
   The family will receive friends Monday, January 20, 2025 from 6-7pm at the family home 505 Oneida St, Seneca, MO. 
 Memorial services will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Warren's Branch.
