Countiss Linebarger

Countiss (Dorothy) Catherine Linebarger, 93, Seneca, MO passed into eternal rest at 3:20 PM, November 12, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family after a long illness. Countiss Catherine Taylor was born October 29, 1920 in Denver, CO, the daughter of Frank and Lillian (Auringer) Taylor. She was a homemaker and formerly ran a hair salon.  Dorothy as she was called by her family and friends, was a member of the Seneca Church of Christ.  Countiss (Dorothy) Taylor married James Linebarger April 11, 1942 and they moved to the Seneca area from California in October of 1998.  Survivors include her husband of 71 years, James Linebarger; One son, Sterling Linebarger and wife Joy, Reno, NV; two daughters, Janet Linebarger Huth and husband Mark, Tualatin, OR and Jeannine Linebarger Yuen and husband Paul, Galena, KS; grandchildren, Jodi, Paul and Ashley; great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Geoffrey, Tyler, Makayla, Kamryn; great-great grandson Logan and a host of friends and church family.  Funeral services under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 15, 2013 at the Seneca Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Swars Prairie Baptist Cemetery with Sterling Linebarger, David Fox, Chris Beck, Paul Yuen, Mark Huth and Kevin Mailes serving as pallbearers.
