Cletus Charles Sampson, 72, Seneca, MO, passed away February 10, 2024 at his home after an illness.
Cletus Charles Sampson was born June 23, 1951 in Truth Or Consequences, NM the son of Wilbur and Myrtle (Griffith) Sampson.
On a chilly and windy day, at the end of winter, God decided to bring home a special soul. Cletus was gentle, caring and raised grandkids on the gravel road. Many called him dad, papa, friend, uncle, cousin and brother. He built houses with his strong and rough hands, the same hands that held fragile newborns. He gave everything to the people he loved and gave what was left to those in need. Cletus did his best for all of us. Cletus formerly worked construction in the dry wall and roofing business. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially spending time with his family. Cletus loved going to the local coffee shop to meet with other great thinkers to solve the worlds problems. He took great pride in telling jokes and making people laugh. Cletus was of the Apostolic Faith.
