Claude McMurry

Claude S. (Mac) McMurry, 70, Carl Junction passed into eternal rest Saturday, November 3, 2012 at his home in Carl Junction following a long illness.    Claude Smith McMurry was born May 6, 1942 in Ottawa, KS the son of Rex and Maude (Smith) McMurry.  Claude retired from the Rail Road where he worked as an Engineer.  He was of the Baptist faith and was a Navy Veteran.    Claude married Shirley Anne Ingel December 1, 1993 in Miami, OK and she survives.   Additional survivors include his three children, Brian Lydia and Melody; his three step children, Keith, Kelli and Kirk; 5 grandchildren , 6 step grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.    Memorial Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, November 5, 2012 at the Seneca Cemetery with Rev. Wyane Brust officiating.    The body has been taken for cremation.
