Christy Grigg

Christy Grigg, 67, Bluejacket, OK passed away April 27, 2024 after a long illness.

Christy Diane Gouge was born September 20, 1956 in Joplin, MO the daughter of Junior Clyde Gouge and Shirley Jean (Hunt) Gouge. Christy worked for Eagle Pitcher Industries in Joplin, MO for over 30 years. She enjoyed quilting, taking care of the farm animals and reading. She loved her German Shepard's, Josey, Remi and Trooper. Christy loved traveling especially traveling to Alaska. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Christy was a care giver. She gave of herself by taking care of her parents and her sisters during their sickness. Christy was a member of Narrcissa Baptist Church where she served by taking care of the children in various special events. She loved Jesus with all her heart, soul and mind.

Christy was preceded in death by her parents Junior Clyde Gouge and Shirley Jean Gouge; two sisters, Debra Cullum and Lisa Vogt.

Christy Gouge married Greg Grigg March 19, 1993 in Seneca, MO and he survives.

Additional survivors include two daughters, Amy Michelle Rainey, Joplin, MO and Misty Dawn Boman, Castine, ME; one brother Alan Gouge, Seneca, MO; 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6-7pm, Friday, May 3, 2024 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home Seneca, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, May 4, 2024 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Randy DePriest officiating. Burial will be in the Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery, Joplin, MO with Drake Ogle, Tristen Rainey, Corey Stansill, Nate Cullum, Rodney Stark and John Grant serving as pallbearers.
