Charles Griffin

Charles A. Griffin, 87, Wyandotte, OK, passed into eternal rest November 3, 2024 at his home after a long illness.

Charles Andrew Griffin was born July 12, 1937 in Bakersfield, CA, the son of Alfred William and Dora Marie (Friend) Griffin.

Charles was a logger in Oregon for many years then moved into the area and became a dairy farmer, in the Wyandotte, Fairland area. He and his family moved several times between Oklahoma and Oregon and several years ago made their home here in the area while making many more trips visiting family and friends in Oregon. Charles enjoyed being outdoors, he loved farming and taking care of his cows, gardening, being in the woods and fishing. He and his wife Shirley were long time members of the Wayside Assembly of God.

Charles Andrew Griffin married Shirley Ann Rash and she survives him along with his children; Chuck Griffin and wife Becky, Springfield, OR, Sandra Earls and husband Russell, Fairland, OK and Becky Fitzpatrick and husband Kevin, Bella Vista, AR; grandchildren, Tara Parkinson, Jennifer Frazee, Aren Griffin, and Cecile Griffin; five great-grandchildren; one brother Bill Griffin, Fairland, OK, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Charles was preceded in death by his son Ronnie Griffin, and grandson Donnie Griffin.

The body has been taken for cremation under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
