Charles "Joe"-Dean Clogston was born in Salinas CA October 6, 1946 the son of Roy Clogston Sr. and Nancy (Phillips) Clogston.

Joe moved to Seneca when he was 5 years old. He attended Seneca Schools. After graduation Joe would comment that "Uncle Sam" sent him on his graduation trip as he joined the Marine Corps. Joe always took to heart "Once a Marine always a Marine". He belonged to the Clevenger Marine Corp Detachment of Miami, OK, the DAV, American Legion and the V.F.W.

Upon his completion Joe attended M.S.C majoring in High School Education allowing Joe to teach, English, Spanish and French. To the end he could still speak to the nurses in French.

Charles Joe-Dean Clogston married Pamela Kinsch in June of 1972. Together they owned and operated "Barney's Used Cars" when interest rates soared to 18% Joe said "it's time to move on" so they established "The ETC Shoppe" for 40 years he remained part owner in it. Joe also worked at U.S Metal as a Government Inspector for 18 years.

He became permanently disabled in 1989 when they found he had Agent Orange.

Joe was very was very active in Churches all his life, he loved music and could play any stringed instrument. He loved to play the piano and was a Worship Leader for Pastor Bob Wilson for many years. Joe collected many things like military and radios (over 1500).

Joe and Pam had 52 good years together and they attributed it to have God being the first in their marriage.

Joe is survived by his wife Pam Clogston, Neosho, MO; his children Jennifer Glover and husband Eddie and Jeremiah Clogston; Five grandchildren, Taylor Blair and husband Nathan, Stephany Clogston, Ethan Clogston and wife McKenzie) and Jaelyn Clogston; four great-grandchildren, Sophia, T.J. Briar and Hayden. Bonus daughters LaDora Erickson and Shawntal Carter.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents and grandson Nick Glover.

The body has been taken for cremation. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 10:00am, Friday, January 10, 2025 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Denny Sikes officiating.
