Cathy Kirby

Cathy Lynne Kirby, 55, Joplin, MO passed into eternal rest at 3:30pm, June 3, 2018 at the Seneca House Nursing Home after losing her battle with cancer.  Cathy Lynne Capps was born September 28, 1962 in Carthage, MO the daughter of Ira and Linda ( Widener ) Capps.  Cathy formerly worked for the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma at the Out Post Casino as a security guard.  She loved her cat Georgie and spending time with her granddaughter.   Cathy was preceded in death by her father Ira in 2014 and one brother Douglas Capps in 2013.  Survivors include her mother Linda Capps, Seneca, MO; one son, Ronald Coleman, Joplin; one granddaughter, Sierra Coleman, Joplin; one brother, Michael Capps, Indiana; one sister, Julie Aldridge, Seneca, MO and a host of friends.   The body has been taken for cremation and the family will be holding a Celebration of Life memorial visitation, June 6, 2018 from 5 – 7 pm, at the family home 1815 Lost Creek Dr. Seneca, MO.
