Bert Wilkins

Bert Wilkins, 70, Neosho, MO, passed into eternal rest February 22, 2012 at his home in Neosho, MO after a sudden illness.   Bert Leon Wilkins was born May 1, 1941 in Seneca, MO the son of Robert and Elsie (Misner) Wilkins. Bert had lived in the area all his life. He worked for CO-OP and worked for MFA many years. Bert was a 1959 graduate of Seneca High School.   Survivors include one son, Kyle Wilkins and wife Susan, Seneca; one daughter, Terri Strait and husband Wendell, Carthage; two step children Sandra Sava and husband Donald, Neosho and Christine Padilla and husband Joel; 5 grandchildren, Megan Strait, Hayli Lopez, Mathew Strait, Brandon Wilkins and Ethan Wilkins and one great-grandson, Carson Means; extended family members Jean Giddens and husband Jerry, Parsons, KS and Martha Wilkins, Neosho.    Funeral services under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, February 27, 2012 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Graham officiating. Burial will be in the Burkhart Cemetery with Frank Green, Rick Hyder, Joel Padilla, Mathew Strait, Brandon Wilkins and Wendell Strait serving as pallbearers.    The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday, February 26, 2012 at the funeral home.
