Barbara Hawkins

Barbara Ann Hawkins, 62, Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest at 4:00 PM, Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin after an illness.    Barbara Ann Montemayor was born November 11, 1950 in St. Joseph, MO the daughter of Albert V. and Wilma Mae (Townsend) Montemayor. She was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith.    Barbara Ann Montemayor married Floyd R. Hawkins December 7, 1968 in St. Joseph and he preceded her in death Apirl 17, 2008.    Survivors include two sons Bradley Hawkins and wife Holly, Seneca and Justin Hawkins and wife Chandler, Joplin; three brothers Keith Montemayor,St. Joseph,  John Montemayor and Ted Montemayor both of Kansas City; three sisters, Jolene Edwards, Karen Dydell and Judy Rymell all of St. Joseph and five grandchildren, Laney, Emma, Bosten, Hadely & Owen; and friend Vonna Hawkins.   Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Karl Montemayor.   The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM, Monday, January 14, 2013 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca. Following the Visitation there will be a graveside committal service at the Hornet Cemetery with Rev.
