Obituary for Artis Ray Wilson

Artis Ray Wilson, 83, Hornet, MO passed away at 2:35 AM, Sunday, April 15, 2012 at his home after an illness.   Artis Ray Wilson was born August 22, 1928 in Red Star, AR the son of Oliver and Ila (Cox) Wilson. Ray was an Army Veteran and had worked for Eagle Picher.  Ray was a 32nd Degree mason and a member of the Stella Lodge.    Artis Ray Wilson married Delilah Henderson in Jasper, AR in 1953 and she survives.    Additional survivors include two sons; Billy Wilson and Terry Wilson both of Seneca; one daughter Marilyn Ruddick, Warsaw, IL; three brothers, Verline Wilson, Harrison, AR, Lewis Wilson, Wichita, KS and Jim Wilson state of KS; two sisters, Thelma Breedlove, Kearney, MO and Naomi Goodwin, Harrison, AR; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.    Ray was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, James Wilson and Ottis Lee Wilson.    Funeral services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO, will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 19, 2012 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Chapel with Rev. Bob Martin officiating. Burial will be in the Hornet Cemetery.    The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 PM, Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.   In lieu of Flowers the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home to help with the cost of funeral arrangements.
