Anna Henry
Anna M. Henry, 73, Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest February 7, 2012 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, MO after an illness. Anna Marie Surridge was born October 17, 1938 in Neosho, MO. the daughter of Robert William and Nellie “Moreland” Surridge. Anna had lived in the Seneca area most of her life. She formerly worked as a cook and was known in the Seneca area for being a decorator and selling Home Interior products. Anna was a member of the Seneca Assembly of God. Anna is survived by her husband J.L. Henry; one daughter Joy Shockley, Springfield; two granddaughters; one brother, Paul Surridge, Seneca; one sister Patsy Chester, Seneca and a host of friends and relatives. Anna was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Carolyn McKibben. A Celebration of Life Visitation and viewing will be held Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the fellowship hall at the Seneca Assembly of God Church from 12 to 2 PM. Graveside services will be held following the visitation at the Seneca Cemetery with Pastor Charles Whitekiller officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be “The Goodtime Gals”, Chalise Shockley, Stephanie Lee, Jackie Wheeler, Sherry Rice, Lanae Shockley and Imogene Isaacson.
