Amanda Roberts

Amanda Roberts    Loving Mother and Grandmother, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on November 7, 2012.    Amanda was born to G.B. and Martha Bailey, June 8, 1917 in Lexington, KY. Amanda's family move to Arkansas in 1931, where she met and married Carl Roberts on June 13, 1933 in Des Are, AR. They lived most of their married life in Arizona. She was married to Carl 78 years. He passed away on June 30, 2011.    Amanda worked in real-estate and had a resale business. She enjoyed making quilts for her family and was very fond of being around farm animals. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Arizona where she taught Sunday school and was a song leader. Amanda and Carl retired in Show Low, AZ.    Amanda is survived by her loving daughters, Mrs. JoAnn Pierson and husband Benton, Seneca, MO; Mrs. Martha Hunt and husband Walter, Braggs, OK; four sons, Mr. Kenneth Roberts and wife Fay, Kippa TX, Mr. Glen Roberts and wife Emily, Show Low, AZ, Mr. Harry Roberts and wife Lorie, Goodman, MO and Mr. Larry Roberts and wife Diane, Lincoln, MO; 22 grandchildren and scores of great-grandchildren.   Visitation for Amanda will be Sunday November 11, 2012 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO from 2 to 4 PM.  Funeral services will be held Monday, November 12, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, with Chaplin Dan Mullins officiating. Burial will be in the Kirk Cemetery north of Seneca on Kapok Dr. with family members serving as pallbearers.
