Alberta Morgan

Alberta Marie Morgan, 83, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday January 16, 2024 in Miami, OK.

Alberta was born on February 20, 1940 in Picher, OK the daughter of Albert and Pearl Reeder.

Alberta attended school in Miami Oklahoma. There she met the love of her life Jake Morgan in 1957. They were joined in marriage on June 29, 1958 in Narcissa, Oklahoma. They lived most of their lives between Miami / Grove Oklahoma and Sweetwater, Texas. Alberta enjoyed going to the casino, fishing, having coffee with friends and garage sales. She never met a stranger.

Alberta is survived by 4 children; Russell and wife Terrie Morgan, Miami, OK, Mark Morgan, Sweetwater, TX, Mike and wife Sarah Morgan, Fairland, OK and Julie and husband Jerry Matthews of Jay. Her greatest blessing was to being called "Nanny" to 17 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Alberta was preceded in death by her parents, her momma Delphia Dill and one son John Morgan.

The family will receive friends at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, January 18, 2024 from 6 -7 pm.

Funeral services will be held January 19, 2024 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home at 2:00 pm with Skip McClain officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Seneca Cemetery.
