Aaron Joseph Summers, 30, passed into eternal rest May 26, 2024 at KU Medical Center in Kansas City after losing his life long battle with Cystic fibrosis.

Aaron Joseph Summers was born November 13, 1993 in Springfield, MO the son of Clarence Summers Jr. and Michelle (Walton) Summers. Aaron was a life long resident of Seneca, MO. Aaron was one of the mangers for Seneca Football from 8th grade until he graduated. He was a Kansas City Chiefs fan, Seneca Indians fan, NASCAR fan and loved watching Michael McDowell race.Aaron loved to cook, Bar-B-Q, fish and he was very involved with his church. Aaron was a member of Christ Community Church in Joplin MO. Aaron's life touched many people and his legacy will forever be remembered.

Aaron was preceded in death by one sister Stephanie Lynn Summers and his grandparents, Clarence and Goldie Summers.

Survivors include his twin brother, Devin Summers, Seneca; his mother, Michelle Vangunda and husband Dannie, Neosho; grandparents, Ronald and Susan Walton, Seneca; his father Clarence Jr. and wife Stephanie Summers, Springfield, MO; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11am, June 8, 2024 at the Christ Community Church, 2700 East 44th St, Joplin, MO. The body has been taken for cremation under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.

Aaron was a giving person and he wanted to continue to give after he was called home to be with his Lord and Savior. Aaron was a donor and his heart and kidneys were given to two recipients in need of a transplant. His lungs and spine were given to medical science to further medical research.

In Lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or to assist in the purchase of a headstone for Aaron. If donors are helping with the purchase of a headstone please make check payable to Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home and mail to PO Box 380, Seneca, MO 64865.
